We run junior age group cricket for the following age groups: Under-9 (mixed), Under-11 (Boys), Under-11 (Girls), Under-13 (Boys), Under-13 (Girls), Under-15 (Boys) and Under-15 (Girls). Many of our older juniors are now also playing in our Adult teams, or in our Development side (a mix of adults and juniors). Our emphasis is on having fun playing cricket and building skills.
We pride ourselves on having two overseas first-class professional cricketers coaching at Avebury ably supported by Club members, all with ECB or international coaching qualifications. All coaches are DBS checked and have first aid training.
We also believe we offer incredible facilities (a new pavilion, new nets, and a renovated clubhouse and cafe) and are very conveniently located for many towns and villages in North Wiltshire.
If your child is playing at Avebury CC this year you need to sign up for junior membership – which includes all Winter/Spring nets, all Summer Group Coaching sessions, and ensures junior players are covered under the club’s insurance policy.
